Thank you for using Agent19 (the “Extension”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, with whom we share it, and how you can exercise your privacy rights. By installing or using the Extension you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Email address — used to create your account, authenticate, and contact you about your account or purchases. Name (optional/when provided) — used for personalization and display within the extension.
Post content — when you click the Agent19 button on any LinkedIn post, the Extension extracts the visible text content of that post and sends it to our server so an AI-generated comment can be returned. The server returns a generated comment which the Extension inserts into the LinkedIn comment box in your browser.
Each time you generate a comment, we log a brief excerpt of the LinkedIn post (first 100 characters), the tone and length settings used, and the length of the generated comment. We do NOT store the full text of generated comments or the complete LinkedIn posts you interact with.
Your comment generation preferences (tone, length, emoji settings, and toggle states) are stored locally in your browser via Chrome storage and synced to our server to provide a consistent experience.
Your data is used solely to provide the Agent19 service: authenticating your account, generating AI-powered comments, tracking credit usage, and improving comment generation quality. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.
Agent19 relies on the following third-party services to operate:
Supabase — Authentication and database hosting
Anthropic (Claude) — AI comment generation. Post text is sent to Anthropic's API to generate comments. Anthropic does not use this data for training.
Vercel — API hosting
Firebase — Web app hosting
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. Usage logs are retained for 90 days for analytics purposes. Generated comments are not stored on our servers — they are returned to your browser and discarded. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.
The Agent19 extension requests the following permissions:
storage — Store your preferences and authentication session locally in your browser
host_permissions (linkedin.com) — Read LinkedIn post content and inject the AI button into comment editors
host_permissions (agent19.web.app) — Detect your login session from the web app
The extension does not access your browsing history, other tabs, or any data outside of LinkedIn and the Agent19 web app.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may also uninstall the extension to immediately stop all data collection. To request data deletion or exercise any privacy rights, contact us at the email below.
For privacy questions, data deletion requests, or any concerns, please contact us at support@actiotech.com.
